The sealant is forced under pressure into the seam, using a profiled component whose lengthwise edges bear against the concrete components at both sides of the seam. Part of the component forms a sealant supply pipe (1), which is connected to the sealing area (5) via a narrower lengthwise outlet slot (3). The sealing area is formed by two flanges (7) including an obtuse angle, and whose ends join onto the walls forming the outlet slot. Each flange can be coated by a strip of open-pored compressible foam material, the strips forming an extension of the slot. At their ends furthest from the slot, the flanges can be bent over to form supporting edges (9).
