PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the silver halide color photographic sensitive material containing a coupler superior in color developing performance even in the case of a low oil amount, small in the concn. dependence of hue, and superior in stability against reduction of ferrous ions. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains in at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer formed on a support the coupler represented by the formula in which each of R1 and R2 is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constantσp of 0.2-1.0; R3 is a substituent; (n) is an integer of 0-4; Q is a -NHCO-, -NHSO2 -, -CONH-, or -SO2 NH- group; R4 is a substituent substituted by an acid-dissociable group; R5 is a substituent; (m) is an integer of 0-4; X is an H atom or a group releasable by coupling with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.
