PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably miniaturize an entire size by providing the radiator element framed vertically and a pair of director elements to be arranged parallelly with the radiator element outside at the back of the radiator element. SOLUTION: An antenna uses a radiator element 11 and a pair of left and right director elements 12, which are arranged outside at the back of radiator element 11, as the main members. This frame-shaped radiator element 11 can efficiently receive television broadcast waves coming from the front side or the rear side. In this case, the radiator element 11 is set to be square-shaped with one side corresponding toλ/8 electrically concerning a maximum wavelengthλof television broadcast wave to be received. Thus, since the antenna can be miniaturized and lightened as a whole by sufficiently reducing longitudinal and lateral dimensions smaller than the 1/2 wavelength of television broadcast wave to be received and thinning its depth dimension, the antenna can be made immune to wind damage or snow damage and a holding member can be simplified.
