PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the simplification and acceleration of commodity selecting work by providing plural transmission/reception antennas on the side of vending machine for detecting the proximity of non-contact IC card (NNC) for every commodity as a vending object. SOLUTION: When purchasing commodity in the case of handling an NCC 40 as a prepaid card, the NCC 40 covers an NCC transmission/reception antenna 31 of data input part provided for every commodity as the vending object so that radio communication is enabled between the NCC 40 and a reader/writer 22A through this NCC transmission/reception antenna 31 and an NCC transmission/reception antenna 51 on the side of NCC 40. In this communication, a commodity corresponding to the NCC transmission/reception antenna 31 covered with the NCC 40 is selected and it is investigated by a CPU whether the prepaid remainder inputted from the NCC 40 through the reader/writer 22A is more than the price of commodity or not. Thus, a prescribed commodity can be sold and the update processing of data in the NCC 40 is executed. |
