<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel pedal structure for a grand piano, which is composed of components that can be easily fabricated, and that can be simply assembled in a short time. SOLUTION: A pedal structure for a grand piano is composed of a pedal box comprising a woody housing front part 4 for oppressively holding three pedals 1 to 3, and a and a housing rear part 5 formed of a metal-press molding fastened to the housing front part 4 with screws, pedal posts 7, 8 having their lower end parts held between the housing front part 4 and the housing rear part 5 and fastened thereto with screws and having their upper end parts fitted in recesses formed in the rear surface side of a pedal beam 10 and fastened thereto with screws, and a bottom seat 12 fastened to the housing front part 4 and the housing rear part 5 underneath the latter with screws.</p> |
