<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor capable of executing signal processing including wavelet conversion at a high speed without making the processor large in size or increasing hardware size. SOLUTION: Reference constitutional elements 4a to 4e for generating a scaling function and an wavelet function related to wavelet conversion after converting an analog information signal inputted from a sensor part 1 into binary multi-valued data by a multi-valued data conversion part 2 are arranged on respective nodes of tree structure. The coefficient values of scaling functions outputted from plural reference constitutional elements arranged on respective nodes having the same level in the tree structure are inputted to an wavelet conversion processing part 3 having multi-valued, multi-input/binary output threshold elements 5a to 5d for inputting the coefficient values and extracting features and respective wavelet conversion processing results are inputted to a post processing circuit 6 to process these inputs.</p> |
