The invention concerns a communication system between an interrogating transceiver and a plurality of transponders. This system enables the interrogating device to send to the transponders inhibiting commands without modifying the data contained in their memory. The invention more particularly concerns a communication system between an interrogating transceiver, capable of transmitting an energy field and at least a transponder comprising an integrated circuit including a memory, characterised in that in response to the initialisation, the transponder sends a message (ATR) carrying in particular an information (MOD) characteristic of its inhibiting mode and an information (RR) defining the duration of stand-by intervals (PV) between two messages during which the interrogating device is capable of sending one or several inhibiting commands according to the inscribed mode (MOD). |
