The invention concerns an antiwrinkle composition containing an aqueous dispersion of a polymeric system containing at least a synthetic polymer, and the use of this polymeric system as tensor in a cosmetic or dermatological composition. The polymer used must characteristically have a molecular weight of more than 670000 daltons and the resulting polymeric system must be capable of forming a film permeable to vapour, have a modulus of elasticity ranging from 10<8> to 9.10<9> N/m<2> and produce at a concentration of 7 %, a retraction of the isolated stratum corneum of more than 1.5 % at 30 DEG C in relative humidity of 40 %. The resulting composition is in particular useful in the immediate treatment of wrinkles and small wrinkles of the skin.
