Disclosed is a construction element (1) including a panel (2) comprising at least one cementing substance in hydrated form, and a metal sheet (3) attached to at least one of the sides (2a, 2b) of said panel. The metal sheet (3) has a stiffness expressed by a modulus of elasticity E of at least 200,000 MPa, and/or a rupture break point level in traction R equal to at least 270 Mpa; said metal sheet (3) is directly or indirectly attached to one of the sides of said panel by a layer (4) of structural adhesive. The metal sheet (3) and the panel (3) together form a synergistic and relatively monolithic complex, in which they are structurally attached to one another.
