SOLUTION: This automatic transaction device, which has a display and inputting part 1 which performs the display of information and the acceptance of an input operation and medium processing parts 2 to 4 which process a medium, automatically performs transaction processing and internally stores a medium when a customer leaves the medium at returning the medium to the customer is provided with an iris acquiring part 5, which reads customer's iris data, a storing part 6 which stores information about the customer's transaction and iris data and a controlling part 7, which controls each part, acquires a customer's iris data and stores it in the part 6 when the customer performs a transaction operation, acquires his iris data again when the customer returns to take a medium that is left, compares it with the iris data that is acquired at the time of performing the transaction operation and returns the medium to the customer only when both iris data coincide with each other. |
