摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect an impact position on an even large impact surface, and adequately control the characteristic of musical sound which is generated depending on the change of the impact position, by providing a detecting means for peak value and maximum value on wave-form, and a processing means for calculating impact position based on the detected values. SOLUTION: The detector includes a sensor 20 composed of piezoelectric elements, an onset detecting circuit 26 for detecting onset of a wave-form, a + wave-form holding circuit 28 for holding a peak of wave-form with positive polarity, a maximum-value detecting circuit 30 for detecting maximum value in a constant time from the rise of a digital wave-form, and a processing circuit 32 which calculates an impact position and impact force on the basis of + wave-form level and wave-form maximum value. By controlling a sound source based on information outputted from the processing circuit 32, the characteristic of generated musical sound can be adequately controlled depending on the change of the impact position on the impact surface of a head and of impact force.
