摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for radiation measurement which can readily and easily exchange its probe with another and does not cause erroneous setting when the probes are exchanged by making the shapes of the connecting sections between the probes and a measuring section common and automatically informing the measuring section of the kind of the connected probe. SOLUTION: Whether the value Ia at an input port 2ia is 'low' or 'high' is discriminated and, when the value is 'low', the operation proceeds to s2. When the value Ia is 'high', the operation proceeds to S4. When the value Ib at another input part 2ib is 'low' in s2, it is discriminated that no probe is connected and the operation returns to s1 by displaying the unconnected state on a displaying section 3. When the value Ib is 'high' is n2, on the other hand, it is discriminated that a probe is connected and the operation proceeds to s2 in whichβ-rays are measured and displayed. When the value Ib is 'high' in s4, it is discriminated that aθ-ray probe is connected and the operation proceeds to s5 in whichθ-rays are measured and displayed. When the value Ib is 'low' in s4, on the other hand, it is discriminated that anα-ray probe is connected and the operation proceeds to s6 in whichα-rays are measured and arithmetic operation is performed as necessary, and then, results are displayed.
