<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the liquid crystal display device which is improved in picture quality by improving the driving capability without making the device large in size. SOLUTION: A signal wire driving circuit 21 is formed along a scanning wire positioned almost in the center of a display area 19 and a scanning wire driving circuit is formed along a signal wire 13 positioned almost in the center of the display area 19. When one signal wire driving circuit 21 is arranged in the center of the display area 19 along the scanning wire, the distance from the signal wire driving circuit 21 to the farthest pixel becomes 1/2 as large as the overall width, the resistance and capacity of the signal wire 13 become 1/2 respectively, and the time constant of the signal wire 13 becomes 1/4, so that a signal rises and falls abruptly. Even when one scanning wire driving circuit is arranged in the center of the display area 19 along the signal wire 13, the time constant of the scanning wire becomes 1/4 and the same effect is obtained.</p> |
