PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and continuously measure a change with time of a fluorescent light or an absorbance for all samples, by supplying a reagent to each of all samples on a microplate at one time, illuminating the microplate, picking up an image of a confronting face to a face where a well is formed, and selectively passing the fluorescent light or a penetrating light from each sample. SOLUTION: A second reagent is sucked to each dispenser nozzle of a reagent dispenser 6 according to predetermined procedures. Then, each well of a microplate 4 is faced to the dispenser nozzle. When a lower face of the microplate 4 is illuminated with an excitation light by fiber bundles 28a, 28b, the light is detected by a camera 23. An interference filter is adjusted by a wavelength selection part 27 to a fluorescent wavelength corresponding to a sample. And a result, a fluorescent intensity from each sample is picked up at one time, and therefore the fluorescent intensity can be measured in a considerably short time for all samples. When the reagent is dropped to each sample by the reagent dispenser 6, a change with time of the fluorescent intensity of each sample can be continuously measured immediately after the drop. |
