METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE PROTECTION OF NUCLEAR REACTOR LINING

The method and the system are used for controlling the metallining of a reactor in order to prevent its falling in a state ofinadmissible brittleness. By the method the subjectivity of thedata analysis and the protection process control is avoided. Bythe system the operatonal security is increased and it prevents orprotects the reactor cooling and heating getting into criticalboundaries. According to the method the input information aboutthe temperature and the pressure of the cooling circuits of thereactor is received with excess and out of it the rightinformation is selected of valid values of "three - minimum twoidentical ones". The system contains pressure gauge (10) andtemperature readers (11, 12,..., 1 (n-1), 1 n) connected to firstand second programmable controller (2, 3) the outpute of which arecoupled to first and second relay unit (4, 5) connected to firstand second solenoid valve (81, 82). Four back feed relays (91, 92,93 & 94) are connected between the two relay units (4, 5), the twoprogrammable controllers (2, 3) and the two solenoid valves (81,82). The system also includes supply units (6, 7), buttons (41,51), keys (42, 43, 52 & 53) and hydraulic valves (83, 84).3 claims, 3 figures
