The invention relates to a pneumatic arm for sanding that is fixed on the workbench by means of a clamp 8 that has a vertical shaft 2. An arm 3 is articulated on the vertical shaft 2. A second vertical shaft of articulation 4, located at the opposite end of the arm 3, is fixed at the top on a block 5 on which are articulated bars 6 of an articulated parallelogram, the ends of which are articulated, in turn, on a second block 7 that supports a rotary head 8 holding the pneumatic tool 9 and its tool holder 10. Between the bars 6 there is a hydraulic damper 11 that stabilizes the entire assembly. The pneumatic arm for sanding, according to the invention, applies to surface-sanding operations in any position and where access is difficult, such as mouldings, window blinds, etc., allowing the use, on the tool-holder head, of a variety of tools. <IMAGE>
