An elongate braking member (6) of a first part (3) of a device is made of an elastomeric plastic material. The braking member (6) is clamped in a support (7), so that only a running track (8) of the braking member (6) is uncovered. A second part (2) of the device movable relative to the first part (3) has a roller (12). The roller (12) is pressed into the braking member (6). The pressed area of the braking member (6) is elastically deformed, exercising an antagonistic force on the roller (12) which acts as a braking force when the roller (12) is moved. |
