PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent void from occurring on the low-contrast side of a boundary part in the case of forming images having different contrast adjacently. SOLUTION: If the images (halftone part D, soild part D and boundary part G) adjacent to each other have a fixed contrast difference, a non-exposure area is provided at the boundary part G and the wall (boundary area W) of potential is provided at the boundary part G of the continuous images. Thus, the creep of electric field is restrained. Therefore, toner at the boundary part G is not led in an image area where the contrast is high and the void at the boundary part G is prevented so as to realize excellent image reproduction and distinct image formation. |
