PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the sound of a low frequency band in receiving an impact from the outside and to give a high-grade feeling by forming an elastically restorable coating material on the inner surface of the part for receiving the impact from the outside of an exterior body. SOLUTION: On the respective inner surfaces of members for receiving the external impact such as a metallic front surface plate 1, a bottom surface plate 3, a side face plate 4, a rear surface plate 5 and a top surface plate 7, etc., for covering the image display part and control circuit part of a television receiver, the elastically restorable coating materials 1A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 7A composed of the mixed ground fine powder of a synthetic resin binder, polyurethane resin and a high molecular weight elastomer, etc., are applied in the thickness of 400-800μm. The polyurethane resin or the like is used as the synthetic resin binder and foamed polyurethane resin powder whose particle diameter is 10-300μm is used. The addition of aluminum hydroxide is effective as well. When the impact is applied from the outside, the elastically restorable coating material functions as a sound absorbing material and a damper, the frequency band is lowered, attenuation is quickened and the high-grade feeling is supplied.
