PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manifold for a thermoelectric system adapted to application of a refrigerator by forming a slender passage repeatedly changing a direction by partitions and setting a size of sectional area of the passage to a specific value or less. SOLUTION: Partitions 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 are extended from a wall 22 by the same depth as that of a peripheral edge wall 24, and engaged with adjacent surface of a thermoelectric module 12 by minimum contact area. Directions of the passages formed by the partitions are repeatedly changed so that flow of fluid passing the passage become turbulent flow. As a result, thermoelectric amount between fluid and the module surface is increased. For example, suitable number of fluid channels crossing the module surface of 40×40mm is about 8. The cross section of each fluid channel is nearly 5×5mm. However, thickness of the partition of the channel is in fact desired to be maintained in minimum thickness, and hence these channels are slightly lower than 5mm. |
