PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device which reduces the loss of energy charged in an electricity storage device in the power control device by which generated power from a power generation device is supplied to a power consumption device. SOLUTION: A discharge control means 5 and a reverse-current preventive means 6 which use an element which comprises a parasitic diode 16 and a parasitic diode 17 at the inside are installed across an electricity storage device 2 by which electric energy from a solar cell 13 is charged so as to supply the energy in the stop of a power generation operation and an auxiliary electricity storage device 3 which supplies electric energy to a power consumption device 4. When the output voltage of the auxiliary electricity storage device 3 becomes a definite voltage or lower near the operation stop voltage of the power consumption device 4, the discharge control means 5 is set to an OFF state by a control signal ϕ2 from a control circuit 7, and a discharge operation to the auxiliary electricity storage device 3 from the electricity storage device 2 is cut off. When the output voltage of the auxiliary electricity storage device 3 is lowered further after the stop of the operation of the power consumption device 4, the loss of the charging energy of the electricity storage device 2 can be suppressed to a minimum because the discharge operation from the electricity storage device 2 is cut off. |
