PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a battery safely and easily, which uses a gel electrolyte having high ion conductivity. SOLUTION: By layering an electrode including electrolyte solution and a non-pored polymer film at the air-gap part of the electrode involving an air-gap, or impregnating the electrolyte solution in the air-gap part of the electrode after layering the electrode involving the air-gap, and a nonporous polymer film, and retaining the layered body for one hour or more at a temperature in the range of from 20 deg.C to a temperature 10 deg.C lower than the melting point of the polymer, the electrolyte solution included in the electrode is impregnated in the polymer film. |
