<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain the performance of an underground investigation radar constantly. SOLUTION: A thin planar transceiver 10 is inserted between the bottom face of an underground investigation radar 11 searching an object buried in the soil 12 and the ground surface 13. A transmission output knob 16 is adjusted such that the strength of a radar radio wave received by the thin planar transceiver 10 has a reference value. Radio wave is transmitted at a predetermined strength from the thin planar transceiver 10 and the receiving sensitivity thereof is matched to a predetermined reference value by adjusting a receiving sensitivity adjusting knob 15. According to the arrangement, transmitting output and receiving output of the underground investigation radar 11 can be calibrated easily to a reference value by means of the thin planar transceiver 10.</p> |
