PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent irregular brush marks from occurring in AC bias impressing contact counter development by a two-component magnetic brush using polymerized toner. SOLUTION: A photoreceptor drum 3 and a developing sleeve 25 are rotated in a reverse direction to each other at an opposed part between the drum 3 and the sleeve 25, and DC bias on which AC bias is superimposed is impressed as developing bias so as to perform development by a developing brush. An image exposure means obtains a latent image by irradiating the drum 3 with light corresponding to a binary digital signal obtained by binarizing a multilevel digital image signal. |
