PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set height of an electric connector having a key groove on a circuit board to be low when it is installed on the circuit board. SOLUTION: An electric connector 1 is installed on a circuit board P to position an aperture of a receiving recessed part 6 formed opened in a front surface to receive a counter connector 30 in an edge part of the circuit board P. In this case, a protruded part 2C is provided on a housing 2 to protrude from an installation bottom surface 4A of the connector 1 to be contained in a cut part P1 in the circuit board P, a front end surface of the protruded part 2C is positioned at or around the edge part of the circuit board P with a front surface of the connector 1, and a key groove 5 for receiving a key of the counter connector 30 is formed in the protruded part 2C to be communicated with the receiving recessed part 6 and opened in the front end surface. |
