PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens which is bright and has a wide visual field from any directions and is capable of improving a contrast when this lens is applied to a transmission type screen, etc., by providing the light incident surface side of transparent beads with transparent lens bodies disposed in correspondence to the respective positions of the transparent beads. SOLUTION: This plane type lens comprises a transparent base material 1, a colored hot metal adhesive layer 2 formed on the surface of the light incident side of this transparent base material 1 and the many transparent beads 3 consisting of one layer fixed to this colored hot melt adhesive layer 2. The lens has the transparent lens bodies 4 disposed in correspondence to the respective positions of the transparent beads 3 on the light incident surface side of the transparent beads 3. The incident light made incident on the transparent lens bodies 4 of this lens is refracted in accordance with the refractive index of the transparent lens bodies 4 and is then successively transmitted through the transparent beads 3 and the transparent base material 1, from which at least >=55% the light is emitted diffusively isotropically. On the other hand, the light which is not made incident on the transparent beads 3 is absorbed in the colored hot melt adhesive layer 2. |
