New thiazolidinedione compounds of formula: in which Ar, A, X and B are as defined in the description, their enantiomers, diastereoisomers and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts. They can be used in therapeutics, especially in the treatment of insulin-resistant states and/or of non-insulinopenic diabetes, possibly in association with hypertension (high blood pressure).
