PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion device capable of displaying a comment required by an operator. SOLUTION: An input means 8 is prepared for an operator to input the individual information of each operator corresponding to a conversion candidate character string included in conversion candidate character strings stored in a conversion dictionary 7. An individual information adding means 15 adds the individual information inputted by the input means 8 to its corresponding conversion candidate character string. A character string display defining means 5 displays conversion candidate character strings converted by a conversion means 3 on a display means 9, and when the conversion candidate character string to which the individual information is added is included in the conversion candidate character strings, the added individual information is displayed together with the conversion candidate character string. When a definition instruction is applied, the display of the individual information is deleted and the displayed conversion candidate character string is defined as a converted character string. |
