COMPLEX REACTOR POWER GENERATION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex reactor power generation equipment which can surely attain a drastic improvement in the steam turbine efficiency and is easily operated. SOLUTION: Steam generated in a reactor pressure vessel 1 is supplied by way of a main steam line to a high pressure turbine 2. Steam exhausted out of the high pressure turbine 2 is reheated in a steam heater 23 in a boiler 25 and supplied to a low pressure turbine 3. In this constitution, the following relation is aimed; Qb >(h3 -h2 )GS/ηbs where Qb [kcal/h] is thermal power of boiler, h3 [kcal/kg] is steam enthalpy at low pressure turbine inlet, h2 [kcal/kg] is steam enthalpy at high pressure turbine outlet, GS[kg/h] is steam flowrate in the low pressure turbine andηbs is thermal efficiency of boiler for steam.
