The invention refers to a process for the preparation of sweetner salts constituted by a sweetner derived from aspartic acid and an intense sweetner not derived from aspartic acid by adding to a medium liquid in any order (a) a sweetner derived from aspartic acid, (B) a salt of a sweetner acid not derived from aspartic acid and (c) a strong acid, after of which the components then present in the system stop to reaction during at least one minute and it isolates the sweetner salt formed. The invention also refers to new sweetner salts that have a satisfactory thermal stability and a low humid content as well as a new crystalline modification of the aspartame sweetner salt and acesulphamic acid. The invention additionally refers to the use and the preparations of sweetner salts.
