摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently control the temperature rise of a right guide panel and suppress the generation of unevenness of brightness due to the orientational disorder of liquid crystal without adding the size, weight, and a new heating source for the device by adhering and fixing a radiation panel through a thermal conductive adhesion layer on the bottom face of the light guide panel set so as to be emitted from the top face after reflecting the light incident from a side face at the bottom face. SOLUTION: A surface light source device has a radiation panel 3 adhered and fixed through a thermal conductive adhesion layer 2 to the bottom face of a light guide panel 1 set so as to be emitted from the top face after reflecting the incident light from the side face at the bottom face. The light guide panel 1 has the incident side face consisting of the top face and the bottom face and the side face between the top face and bottom face and an appropriate panel-shaped substance made so as to emit light from the top face after reflecting the incident light from the incident side face at the bottom face can be used. The material that forms the light guide panel 1 may be an appropriate substance to indicate transparency according to the wavelength region of the light source. An appropriate adhesive can be used to form the thermal conductive adhesion layer for adhering and fixing the radiation panel 3 at the bottom face of the light guide panel 1.
