<p>The support is for e.g. a settee frame with two parallel brackets and comprises an adjustable vertical post (5) which is fixed to the floor (7), a pair of parallel arms (10,11) pivoting about a horizontal axis (8) at the upper end of the post, a cradle (13) on the ends of the arms which pivots about a second axis (12) parallel to the first, and grippers (25,28). The support has a system for controlling the rotation of the arms, the rotation of the cradle, and the height of the post, and the grippers have fixed and moving clamps operated by synchronised power cylinders.</p> |
