<p>Azo pigments are prepd. from aniline diazo cpds. which are mono- or di-substd. by the gp. - (where X is -CH2-CH2-CN, or C1-5 alkyl gp., and where the phenyl gps. may be further substd.), and coupled with 2-naphthol, 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid, 2,3-oxycarbazole acid, phenylpyrazolone derivs., 2,3-oxynaphtho- or acetic acid anilides and opt. treated with solubilising multivalent metal salt solns. Yellow, orange, red and brown pigment shades are produced useful for viscose spinning masses and for printing purposes.</p> |
