A combine harvester grain tank equipped with a top attachment is to be so designed in a structurally simple manner that the attachment is grain-tight without additional parts being required. In the combine harvester grain tank the attachment members 8 which are pivotably mounted relative to the upper edges of the end walls of the combine harvester grain tank are each formed from three parts. Fold-in triangles 11 are pivotably connected to the trapezoidal central portion 10 on both sides by means of hinges. That results in a top attachment for increasing the volume of the combine harvester grain tank, which is stable in itself but which can be laid flat. The attachment members which are pivotably mounted to the side walls additionally carry pivotable cover members in order completely to close the filling opening of the combine harvester grain tank when the attachment members are laid flat. The combine harvester grain tank is particularly suitable for self-propelled combine harvesters.
