A panel, with a low heat conductivity backing, e.g. polystyrene foam, has pipes (5) surrounded by heat conductive particles (9); e.g. metal granules, swarf, ceramic, sand esp. quartz, or coal dust. A cover (10), facing the room, is cemented to raised areas (6,7) of the backing (2). Its raised edge surround (3) and grooves (8) accept the tubes. Mastic (11) seals all. The manufacturing procedure is also claimed. |
