The invention relates to an awning, comprising an awning housing (10), that can be fixed onto a bearing wall by means of consoles. A canvas shaft (14) is rotationally accommodated in said awning housing (10). At least one oscillating arm is connected to the awning housing, and articulates with a drop bar (32), to which a rolled canvas (35) that falls out of the canvas shaft (14) is fixed. In order to prevent the canvas shaft (14) from bending, the invention provides that said canvas shaft (14) be elastically and flexibly supported. |
