A machine which continually peels potatoes, beet-type vegetable, fruit and similar consists of a peeling section and a transport section. The novelty is that: (a) the peeling is effected by rotating peel plates (2) with knife blades, and (b) the peeling plates (2) are equipped with sharpeners applied with a liquid bonding agent or fabric micro-hook tabs.
