SOLUTION: In this electric power steering device 1, a rack-and-pinion mechanism 3 connected to a steering handle is provided to a steering system, and the auxiliary torque of an electric motor 8 is applied to a rack shaft 5 through a ball screw 9, and the ball screw is assembled to one end of the rack shaft, a pinion 4 is engaged to the other end of the rack shaft, and a rack guide 50 to squeeze the rack shaft to the pinion is provided between the ball screw and the pinion.</p> |
