PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facing plate for a road for maintaining water repellence for a long period with hard contamination. SOLUTION: In the facing plate for a road, a surface layer containing photocatalyst particles, water repellent silicone and substance for preventing hydrophilization of the silicone by photoexciting of the photocatalyst is formed on a surface of a base material. Or, a layer containing photocatalyst particles and water repellent silicone is formed on a surface of a base material, and further substance for preventing hydrophilization of the silicone due to photo- exciting of the photocatalyst is fixed to at least part of the surface of the layer. |
