<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form high-quality images with good processing efficiency without deteriorating finish quality even at the occurrence of errors in the movement amount of a sub scan. SOLUTION: A dot 452 is formed by a main scan and exposure of the (n)th time at an overlapping area 450 formed by a sub scan of a predetermined amount, thereby partly forming a main scan line of the overlapping area 450. A dot 454 is formed at a part without the dot 452 by the main scan and exposure of the (n+1)th time. The main scan line is completed in this manner. Since a boundary part between the dots 452 and 454 is not even in a sub scan direction P, a streak-shaped irregularity extending in a main scan direction W is not given rise to even at the occurrence of an error in the movement amount of the sub scan.</p> |
