PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width of a housing case, and thereby miniaturize the air bag device, concurrently eliminate each bracket, and reduce parts in number, project each bolt out of the inner side of a seat, and thereby suppress the seat in thickness, and thereby perform mounting operations simply and quickly. SOLUTION: A gas generator 29 is formed into a cylindrical long and slender shape. A plurality of bolts 33 are mounted onto an inflator case 27, and the bolt parts 33b of a plurality of the bolts 33 are projected out of the outer part of the inflator case 27. A housing case 25 is formed into a U shape in cross section. Slots 35 are formed in the circular arc surface 25c of the housing case 25. The bolt parts 33b of a plurality of the bolts 33 are inserted into the slots 35 of the housing case 25, the inflator case 27 is rotated, and the bolt parts 33b of a plurality of the bolts 33 are thereby moved to a side surface at the side of a mounting part along the slots 35 of the housing case 25. |
