PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a large difference in a length between frame material elements and connecting pieces according to a change in an ambient temperature by connecting a pair of frame material elements by performing extrusion molding on aluminum alloy, by the connecting pieces of polyamide reinforced by glass fiber. SOLUTION: A frame material for a heat insulating window is formed of an upper frame 3, a lower frame 4, vertical frames 5 and 5, upper stiles 6 and 6, lower stiles 7 and 7 and stiles 8 and 8. The frame material for a heat insulating window is composed of a pair of frame material elements 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, 8a and 8b by performing extrusion molding on aluminum alloy and connecting pieces 14a, 14b and 14c to connect these frame material elements to each other. The connecting pieces 14a and 14b are composed only of polyamide 6 strengthened by glass fiber. A thermal expansion efficient of the polyamide 6 reinforced by the glass fiber is a valve close to a thermal expansion coefficient of aluminium alloy of a pair of frame material elements. Therefore, the occurrence of a large difference in a length between the frame material elements and the connecting pieces according to a change in an ambient temperature, can be prevented. |
