摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining performances of yield and production efficiency equal to or even better than those obtained in the case of a sieve containing only zeolite type adsorption medium particles exchanged with lithium and further separating a gaseous mixture containing oxygen and nitrogen with a smaller load in aspects of cost. SOLUTION: A gaseous mixture containing oxygen and nitrogen is brought into contact with the first faujasite type selective adsorption medium for nitrogen exchanged with lithium to at least 80% at <1.5 Si/Al ratio and the second zeolite type selective adsorption medium for the nitrogen exchanged with a bivalent cation such as an alkaline earth metallic or a transition metallic cation in an adsorption zone. The second adsorption medium is characterized by a nitrogen adsorptivity C2 below a nitrogen adsorptivity C, characterizing the first adsorption medium and >=3 adsorption selectivity for the oxygen (1×10<5> Pa and 20 deg.C).</p>
