PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer zone which assures smooth operation and has a twisting resistance and which is used to couple a base end shaft to inside a foremost operating stem of a catheter for blood vessel. SOLUTION: A method to couple together adjoining parts of a tubular member having substantially different flexibility is achieved by a process to form a transfer zone 42 between two adjoining parts, and each transfer zone 42 has at least one intermediate sleeve to specify the flexibility of the transfer zone 42 located between two continued parts.
