PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute operation such as the granulation coating or drying of powdery particles within the same apparatus. SOLUTION: A powdery particle treatment apparatus has a treatment container 5 of which the powder contact part 8a has a horizontal circular cross section, a rotary tray 6 provided to the bottom part of the treatment container 5 in a rotatable manner and having air passing parts 11 permitting air to flow from the under surface of the tray 6 to the upper surface thereof and a rotary lid member 7 provided above the rotary tray 6 so as to be vertically movable in concentric relation to the rotary tray 6 and covering at least a part of the air passing parts 11 of the rotary tray 6 at its falling position.
