PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing sheet and ink with which thermal transfer can be performed with low printing energy, clear printing can be continued for a long time even with a general-purpose thermal transfer printer on the market, and excellent thermal transfer pattern is given at a site so as to efficiently issue according to circumstances. SOLUTION: In a printing sheet, a thermal transfer pattern 2 consisting of an ink containing a polyolefin having a viscosity average molecular weight of 100-5,000 and a coloring matter as its components is provided on an ink receiving layer of a sheet base material 1 having an ink receiving layer consisting of a polyolefin. The ink can be transferred thermally by printing energy of 0.15mj/dot or lower through a thermal transfer printer. Thus, printing can be done clearly continuously for a long time by the printing energy of 0.15mj/dot or lower and the polyolefins of the ink receiving layer and the ink fuse each other excellently so as to form a pattern having excellent fixing property and abrasion resistance. |
