PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the regularity of heart function, by calculating a disorder index based on a pair of different cardiac waveforms made from monitored and recorded cardiac waveform data and electrocardiac waveform data monitored and recorded and evaluating the regularity of a patient's heart functions based on the disorder index. SOLUTION: Electrocardiac data are monitored and recorded for a prescribed period (s42), and continuous waveforms are compared with waveforms of previously recorded data sets. When the continuous waveform is different from all the previously stored waveforms, a set of different electrocardiogram waveform data is made by integrating the continuous waveform with a set of previously stored data waveform (s44). The total number of waveforms existing in recorded electrocardiogram waveform data is counted (s46), and the total number of different waveforms existing in sets of different waveforms (s48). The disorder index is calculated by dividing the total counted number of different waveforms by the total number of waveforms (s50) to evaluate the regularity of heart functions (s52). |
