<p>Play is reduced by a filter of foamed material, such as expanded polyurethane. When a small relative displacement of the rotor or stator occurs, the filler is deformed by the fan's blades which cut this material. The filler is a strip which has a constant thickness and is made flat for large diameter fans and slightly bent for small diameter fans.</p> |
