<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove hazardous material effectively by a method wherein, when hazardous material is removed from decomposed product discharged in decomposition treatment of a decomposition retardant aromatic halide of PCB or the like, a plurality of adsorbent-filling columns connected in series and a gas liquid separation means provided between respective columns are provided. SOLUTION: A reactor is composed of a preheating furnace 1, a connection part heating furnace 2, and a reaction part heating furnace 3, and water, an oxidizing agent and an aromatic halogenide are introduced to the preheating furnace 1 monitoring pressure with a pressure gauge 8 via respective leading pipes 4, 5, 6. Then, decomposing reaction is carried out with the reactor, a decomposition product is taken out, and a part is passed through a filter via a branched pipe 7 to remove a powdery material. Thereafter, it is sent to a pressure regulator 9. The remainder is sent to adsorbent-filling columns 10, 11 and a gas liquid separator 12. Further, as occasion demands, it is sent to an analyser 13 to carry out compositional analysis. As the adsorbent filled in respective adsorbent-filling columns 10, 11, for example, active carbon, zeolite, diatomaceous earth, etc., are used.</p> |
