DURABLE SOIL RELEASE FINISHING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart soil release performances having washing durability by applying a soil resistant finish liquid prepared by diluting a fluorine-based soil resistant finish agent and an isocyanate based cross-linking agent with a specific organic solvent to a fabric and then heat-treating the resultant fabric. SOLUTION: A soil resistant finish liquid prepared by diluting a fluorine-based soil resistant finish agent and an isocyanate based cross-linking agent with an organic solvent having <=10.0 (cal.cm<-3> )<0.5> solubility parameter is applied to a fabric and the resultant fabric is then heat-treated. The soil resistant finish liquid uniformly sticks to fiber surfaces and excellent soil release performances and washing durability thereof can be imparted thereto. The method is especially useful in clothes easily sticking soils such as a uniform or a working wear.
